Our Services

  • Please read these terms and conditions ("Terms") carefully. In purchasing and/or registering for one of our online courses you recognise and agree to the following Terms. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms you should not access or view this website. These Terms may be amended by us from time to time. Your use of this website following such changes constitutes your acceptance of these changes.
  • For organisations contracting directly via a sales agreement, rather than purchasing directly via the web site, the duration explicit in that agreement replaces the duration below but is otherwise supplemental to the Terms.

Discounted Services

  • Please note that discounts on services offered by LaterLife Learning (the “Discounted Services”) are only available to individuals who have, or companies, firms or business entities whose representative(s) have, satisfied certain preconditions which may include, but are not limited to, attending the LaterLife Pre-Retirement workshops, subscribing for Laterlife newsletters, being a member of, or purchasing from selected partner organisations or a direct or indirect subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc.,  or such other pre-conditions that Laterlife, at its sole discretion, determines from time to time (the “Pre-conditions” and each a “Pre-condition”).
  • Laterlife will inform potential recipients of the relevant Pre-condition(s) to the Discounted Services. If a potential recipient is uncertain whether they have satisfied the Pre-condition(s) for the Discounted Services, they should contact Laterlife before purchasing the Discounted Services.
  • Under no circumstances does LaterLife Learning agree to provide Discounted Services to any party who has not satisfied a Pre-Condition (an “Unauthorised Party”). Should any Unauthorised Party attempt to obtain Discounted Services, LaterLife Learning reserves the right to immediately terminate the contract for Discounted Services without notice to the Unauthorised Party (a “Termination Event”). For the avoidance of doubt, upon the occurrence of a Termination Event, all further rights and obligations of an Unauthorised Party will cease. Notwithstanding the occurrence of a Termination Event, LaterLife Learning has the right to retain any payments for services that it has already provided to the Unauthorised Party.

Duration of service

Planning Retirement Course

  • You are entitled to access the service for a period of 1 year or more, depending on the product option purchased. 
  • We have a policy of continuous improvement and you are entitled to make use of all enhancements during the period of access.
  • In the event that you wish to extend usage beyond the initial period purchased please use the enquiry form on the Contact Us page.

Being Better with Money Course

  • You are entitled to access the service for a period of 1 year.
  • We have a policy of continuous improvement and you are entitled to make use of all enhancements during the period of access.

Registered email address

  • Should we need to communicate with you on changes to these Terms or on any other aspect we will use the email address you supply on registration. You can update these registration details at any time. Communication to the registered email address will be regarded as sufficient notification of any changes.
  • Your registered email address is also used should you forget your password and for other security purposes, so it is important to amend this if you should change email address.

Personal use

  • The course is for your own personal use. You may not disclose your access details to anyone else. Should you not comply you are liable to reimburse us for the full cost of the workshop used by the third party that you disclose the information to. In addition we are entitled to remove your access to the website and its services.
  • The online courses are the copyright of Jelf Insurance Brokers Ltd and LaterLife. The material is for personal use and may not be copied or reproduced for any commercial purpose without prior agreement. Please see the full copyright statement below. 


  • All present and future rights, including copyright, in the content of our web pages are owned by Jelf Insurance Brokers Ltd, or our partners or suppliers. Such rights include course design and materials, website design, the selection and arrangement of text, graphics and all software compilations, underlying source code, software and all other material on this  website.
  • Material on the website may not be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, broadcast or transmitted in any way except for your own personal non-commercial use.   • We provide the web site "as is" and without any warranty or condition, express, implied or statutory which are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. We cannot make any representations or endorse the content of third party sites linked to from this website. We therefore exclude all liabilities, costs, expenses, claims and demands relating to third party content or material. 
  • We are not liable to you or to any third party for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, or for any loss of data, profit, contracts, revenue or business caused (whether arising out of the negligence of ourselves or our employees or other agents) even if that loss was foreseeable or the possibility of such loss was brought to our attention in connection with actions taken based on information or material contained in the website.

  • We make no warranty that our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free or that defects, if any, in the service will be corrected and we exclude all liability for any claims, loss, demands or damages of any kind with respect to the use or the inability to use the service or resulting from any data, information or other material on the website or the interruption, suspension or termination of the service whether such interruption, suspension or termination was justified or not, negligent or intentional.
  • You agree to indemnify us against any costs, claims, losses and damages (including legal fees) incurred by or awarded against us as a result of your misuse of this website or your breach of these Terms.

Feedback, Complaints and Refunds

  • Our courses are based on well proven materials and techniques but associated with the courses there are opportunities to provide feedback and we very much welcome this. It will also potentially benefit you because you will have access to any enhancements we may make as a result. 
  • On purchase of the service you have a statutory 7 day cooling off period in which you may cancel for any reason. However once the service is activated and you make use of it this right to cancel no longer applies. 
  • In the event that you should wish to cancel or be dissatisfied with any of the services for any reason such that you wish to terminate usage, please contact us on 01189 88 01 88 or use the enquiry form on the Contact Us page stating your reasons for dissatisfaction.
  • We agree to act in good faith to resolve any dispute or complaint you may have promptly through discussion including requests for a refund.

Jurisdiction and enforcement

  • For the avoidance of doubt your use of the website shall be governed by English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
  • If any of the terms contained above should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted and the remaining terms and conditions shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
